Halloween Party!
2023 marked the 40th anniversary of the Lighthouse Community Centre and along with that, the annual Halloween Party! The Lighthouse Country Family Halloween Party was one of the first events held at the Lighthouse Community Centre in 1983.
Originally, the good folks who comprised the Lighthouse Recreation Commission were the organizers and when that group could no longer continue, they put out a public notice and Lindsey Genoe decided to take it on. She approached the Community Club about including the Halloween Party as one of their events and they embraced the idea. Lindsey joined the Club and took on the role as lead organizer for the Party (and she still is). Thanks Lindsey for your continuing leadership and involvement!

Cash concession with hot dogs and pizza (Nickolini's), along with snacks and refreshments
At the end of the party, the Bow Horn Bay Fire Department will be in charge of the bonfire and fireworks, compliments of Bowser Builders.
But that’s not all! The Halloween Party wouldn’t be complete without our colouring contest and Guess the Goodies game. Copies are available at First Credit Union (Bowser branch), Bowser Builders and Lighthouse Feed & Garden. You can also download them here to print out at home;
Completed contests can be returned to the locations above by Thursday, Oct 26th or brought to the party.
